I bet everyone has a childhood memory of Swensen like me. Well known for their ice cream, but has an extension ala carte menu too. Like the super delicious looking mega burger($14.70) you see above, the huge burger comes with beef patty, chicken ham, turkey bacon, grilled vegetables like egg plant, onion, melted cheese and a sunny side up egg served with coleslaw and fries. The dish look just as yummy as shown on the menu. The egg was cooked just right with running egg yolk as you poke the egg yolk with your fork, the egg yolk flow out and match with the other ingredients. The combination is just heavenly.
The salmon and mushroom baked rice($12.70) was a failure. They have such a abundance of salt that they have to make my baked rice taste like sea water and it's too sour also.
Of course what is Swensen without ice cream, we conquered the regular earthquake($19.90) with 8 flavours of ice cream topped with yummy caramel, hot fudge, whipped cream, blue berry syrup and cherry. With 26 flavours to choose from, we took chocolate peanut buttercup, hazelnut, strawberry, rocky road, sticky chewy chocolate, yummy raisin(which taste like rum and raisin), thin mint and lime shebert. There was alot of flavours that we intially wanted to try but was sold out.
