Crystal Cafe - Taiwan Porridge Buffet

It was my mom's birthday and my brother suggested having Taiwan Porridge Buffet so we went to Crystal Cafe located at Orchard Grand Court.

Crystal Cafe's porridge buffet cost $13.80/$15.80 for adults and $11.80/$13.80 for children. The porridge buffet are only available for lunch(12pm-2:30pm) and dinner(6pm-10pm).

Crystal Cafe serve very limited variety of dishes mainly the braised varieties and stir fried dishes. It lacks the fun that buffets normally brings.

They have nonya kueh too but only 3 types as shown on the photo.

At least it's dessert did not disappoint me, the tau suan is actually quite tasty although I would not say it's heavenly.

If you are not fussy about the limited choices, just wanted something cheap to fill your big appetite then you could try Crystal Cafe.

Will I go back again? Maybe not as I prefer buffet to be overwhelming! But that's just me *wink*
